After a long hiatus, Toyota brought back the Venza as a mid-size hybrid SUV with some premium touches for the 2021 model year. For the 2023 model year, the Venza received some updates and a new Nightshade edition. With the Venza getting a few changes for 2023, we expect the 2024 Venza to be a sight to behold.
The exterior design of the 2024 Toyota Venza is expected to remain unchanged for the new model year. The current mid-size SUV has a premium design with small triangular headlights, thin grille and large front air vents. The Venza has simple body lines and a curved roof. A sharp tail lamp is seen which is paired with a vertical trunk, a large rear spoiler and two air vents at the rear.
We don’t expect to see any changes to the current Venza’s interior for 2024. The electronic midsize SUV has a premium design with a large dashboard layout and an impressive center console that moves from the dash to the front of the passenger. A large central touch screen is located at the front of the dashboard, while the touch controls for the HVAC system are located on the lower part of the center console. Although the Venza is classified as a mid-size SUV, it offers less interior space than the compact RAV4.
Standard specifications on the current Toyota Venza include an eight-inch touchscreen, seven-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging, navigation, virtual assistant, six audio speakers, five USB ports, satellite radio and HD radio. These features should remain standard for the 2024 model. Features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen and nine speakers. Toyota currently offers Venza with the same powertrain that is expected to remain the same for 2024. The midsize SUV comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated with two electric motors. Power is obtained at 219 horsepower. An automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard. The powertrain is expected to remain unchanged for the upcoming model year.
The current Venza comes with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 home of advanced safety features. The hybrid SUV is equipped with blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keeping assistance, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, cross-traffic, automatic emergency braking, Traffic signs, cruise control and automatic assistance. Available features include a parking camera, parking sensors and a head-up display. These features should continue in the 2024 Venza.
Based on ship production data, we expect the Toyota Venza 2024 to enter production in early October 2023. Without any changes planned, the price of the 2024 Venza should be close to the current model which starts at $35,455 and destination.
