Chevrolet introduced the full-size Colorado for the 2023 model year. With the introduction of the center coming from the recent complete redesign, we expect that the upcoming 2024 Colorado will be a carryover model. The exterior design of the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is not expected to change for the upcoming model year.
The current iteration has a strong design with prominent body lines, strong hood and high ride height. The truck’s front design has a unique shape with the famous grille divided by the Chevy badge, while the square headlights and front fenders are also present at the front. The rear of the Colorado includes a system integrated into the bumper and storage in the tailgate. The interior design of the current Colorado is expected to remain unchanged for 2024.
The truck’s dashboard features a high-quality look with simple lines, circular air vents and a large central touchscreen integrated into a digital instrument cluster. The cabinet has a smaller row of controls for the HVAC system below the screen, while the truck controls are located at the bottom of the center console.
Every Chevrolet Colorado has an 11.3-inch touchscreen and eight digital instrument panels. The coupe comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, six speakers, satellite radio and a front USB port. We don’t expect to see any changes to Colorado’s standard technology list for 2024. Chevrolet offers the current Colorado with a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The engine is available in two different power levels: 237 and 310.
The engine produces three different levels of torque: 259 lb-ft, 390 lb-ft and 430 lb-ft. All engines have an eight-speed automatic transmission. When fully equipped, the Colorado can tow up to 7,700 pounds, placing it in the upper middle section. Chevrolet will continue to offer the Colorado the same engine. It is expected that the 2024 Colorado will continue to feature automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, Lane Keep Assist, Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and cyclist detection. Available features include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The Chevrolet Colorado is currently in production before the end of 2022.
We expect the production of the Chevrolet Colorado 2024 to begin before the end of 2023. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but barring major changes, the truck should continue to hover between $33,995 and $48,295 at its destination.
